I would like to share here my experience on my journey to Cairo to present technical papers at a conference. Everything was quite late... Late confirmation, late approval, bla bla bla... I just got the ticket yesterday including the visa. Had to spent few hours till 10pm at night before to pack my things and make necessary arrangement with wife and kids, etc... Then wake up at 4pm early in the morning as I was afraid to miss the flight and don't want my wife to drive to KLIA (she will get lost on the way back). So I took KLIA express at 5.30 and reach KLIA at 6pm. Perform Subuh prayer with other MUSLIM whom waiting to take early flight too.
Had breakfast at an expensive cafe (not that expensive, but since the food is not to my standard, therefore it is expensive). Than at 7pm, check-in at the airlines (certainly not MAS) and was told that the flight is delayed. WHAT? and then saw many passenger started to argue with the airlines staff and worst things I heard was a lady was requested to paid penalty for requesting to change ticket due to the airlines fault (she had to change to avoid another delayed which I believe she had right to do that). But, Alhamdulillah, for me, the flight is delayed but still I won't miss any flight... Just that I will arrive later than expected (10pm in Cairo.. wow... InsyaAllah nothing will happen..)
